Step-by-Step: Capture Emails in Your Children’s Story App with Free Tools

In this previous post – How Children’s Book Authors Can Build an Email List Using Unity and MailerLite; No Coding Needed -, I shared a simple way to build your audience using a free tool – MailingListSignUp for Unity Game Engine – I created. Following a recent update, I’ve now put together this step-by-step guide to walk you through. Briefly, with an email list of loyal players of your interactive children’s book, you could:

  • Sell your next book.
  • Launch a course.
  • Partner with brands.
  • Collect feedback for your masterpiece.

In the updated asset package, I’ve added MailerLite Groups integration so you can:
✅ Organize subscribers into different groups (by story, interest, or offer)
✅ Send the right emails to the right readers.

This is a game-changer for:
👩🏽‍🏫 Children’s book authors & illustrators
📖 Storytellers who want to go beyond the bookshelf
🎮 Creators looking for a fun, no-code way to grow an email list
